As the founder and managing director of H. Barton Asset Management, Harris Barton manages three
venture capital funds that specialize in providing capital to up-and-coming VC-backed technology startups and three funds of venture capital funds of the country’s top-tier VCs for total assets under management of $500 million.
Previously, Mr. Barton co-founded HRJ Capital, a private equity, fund-of-funds investment firm. Mr. Barton became a private equity investor during an All-Pro football career that helped lead the San Francisco 49ers to three Super Bowl wins.
In 2004, he and former NFL teammate Ronnie Lott co-founded Champion Charities, which has raised more than $20 million for brain cancer research and
patient care.
